Okay, so I was a little hesitant to post my "current inspiration" collage for some time now. For the record, the 50 Shades of Grey phenomenon has nothing to do with this post; I actually haven't read it yet. Although I haven't had the courage to post this, I've been inspired by latex, leather, vintage bondage photographs and advertisements for a while now. Most of the reasons why some women pretend that they don't like images such as these or tend to stray away, get shy or feel ashamed when looking at these types of photographs are all the reasons why I have been inspired by it. Society tends to view bondage as taboo, sexually submissive, degrading and dirty. ---Oh well, what can I say, I'm an artist by heart and I don't dictate where I get my inspiration from. Two of my favorite lingerie brands Agent Provocateur and Kiki de Montparnasse are lifestyle companies that seems to share my same views on this topic. To me it's an art, sometimes a sexually stimulating art, but nevertheless it's an art that should be appreciated, by both men and women.
